Preparation and confidence of speech-language pathologists in the specialty area of voice

This original survey study investigates the training and confidence level of Speech- Language Pathologists in the specialty area of voice disorders. Results indicate which components of academic training, continuing education, and work experience are characteristic of SLPs who are confident treating voice disorders and specialize in the area of voice.
