Vibration energy harvesting

With increasing demands of energy, scientists and engineers are working on new methods and applications on renewable energy generations. This paper introduce trends of electricity generation in the US and importance of promoting renewable energy. Among many renewable energy resources, this paper will focus on vibration energy harvesting based on human movements, vehicle shock absorbers and high rise buildings. In the end, a new high building energy harvesting method will be introduced and discussed, and the result shows that the new method wouldn’t meet our daily power demands.
